Poison Spyder Customs has a heritage in hardcore off-road accessories that started when founder Larry McRae was little. McRae's daddy used to load him up in the Ford Bronco to explore the off-road trails of the southwest.

McRae became a professional rock crawler who raced for Nelson & Nelson Racing in the early 2000s. McRae purchased PSC from the Slay family and kept the vision of developing and fabricating high end quality off-road accessories right in the Pomona, California headquarters .

McCrae and his wife are members of the Inland Empire 4 Wheel Drive club. McCrae himself is a Past President and Mrs. McCrae is a past Treasurer. Every product produced by PSC starts as a prototype tested on real trails by members of the club.
